We’re revvin’ up our engines and celebrating the start of the 2011 racing season at Iowa Speedway during our Open House on Saturday, May 7 from 9 a.m. – noon.

The public is invited to get a behind-the-scenes look at the control tour, garage, media center, Newton Club and private party suites during this free event. Fans of all ages can participate in the “Drivers, start your engines!” contest between 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. for a chance to be the grand marshal of an upcoming race.

Best of all, current season ticket holders – and anyone who purchases individual race tickets on May 7 – are invited to drive a lap around the track! After burning rubber behind the pace car, attendees are encouraged to take a spin through the charity car wash. The cost is $10.00 per car and the proceeds benefit the NASCAR Foundation and Iowa Speedway Foundation.

The green flag drops on the 2011 racing season on Saturday, May 21. Don’t miss a minute of the action, call 866-GO-RUSTY or visit to get your tickets today!
