Mahomet-Seymour Cheer Sectional Moved To Thursday At US Cellular Coliseum In Bloomington

The competitive cheerleading sectional at Mahomet-Seymour, scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday nights, has been postponed because of predicted winter weather conditions.

The sectional will be contested at U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington on Thursday, Feb. 6, starting at 2 p.m. A revised competition schedule will be posted on www.IHSA.org later today. Teams in the small and medium divisions will perform first, alternating performances. Then teams in the large and coed divisions will perform, again alternating performances.

Teams may begin checking in at 12:30 p.m. The coaches' meeting for the small and medium divisions will start at 1 p.m. and for the large and coed divisions at 3:30 p.m.

Doors will open to the public at 1 p.m. The admission fee is $5.
