Kacey Smith, a standout athlete from Wilton High School in Wilton, Iowa, has decided to continue his education and wrestling career at Augustana. He will be joining a wrestling program led by head coach Eric Juergens.

Smith went 31-9 for Wilton as a senior qualifying for the state tournament at 138 pounds. He won Cedar Valley Conference and sectional championships and was an all-area selection by the Quad City Times and Muscatine Journal.

Prior to wrestling at Wilton, Smith was a three-year letter winner at Rockridge High School in Taylor Ridge. He won three conference titles for the Rockets and qualified for state twice. In three seasons at Rockridge, he posted an 81-29 record and earned Dispatch/Argus all-area recognition each y ear.

Kacey is the son of Robin Smith of Taylor Ridge and is planning on a major in pre-optometry at Augustana.
