Ridgewood beats Mercer County 51-31

The Ridgewood Spartans defeated the Mercer County Golden Eagles 61-31 in the first quarter of their Jan. 19 contest.

The Spartans got off to a good start in the first period outscoring the Golden Eagles 19-3.

The Spartans never looked back from there and led 32-14 by half-time. Ridgewood continued their dominance in the second half outscoring Mercer County 29-17.

Ella Teel led Ridgewood in scoring with 17 points.

Scoring for Mercer County were: Bailey Krstic, 16; Miranda Biddle, three; Taylor Bennett, Shannon Clawson, Emma Downey and Micheala Baker, two.
