Sherrard girls run past Rock Falls, Kewanee and Fulton

The Sherrard High School girls track teap swept past three teams Monday April 4 in a quadrangular meet held at Sherrard. Scoring for the meet was: Sherrard, 106; Rock Falls, 80; Kewanee,, 46 and Fulton, 35.

The Tigers scored 13 points in the pole vault as Jaclyn Scavuzzo, Alexandra Munday, and Chelsea Munday placed 1-2-3 at the meet. Scavuzzo and Alexandra Munday reached 9'0” while Chelsea Munday reached 7'0”.

Freshman Robbie Hoye won the 800 meter run, 2:41.8 while teammates Delaney Reschke (2:54.0) and Taelor  Cooper (3:03) placed third and fifth respectively. Hoye also won the 1600 meter run, 6:09.5.

Hannah Lavens won the high jump with a leap of 5'0” while freshman teammate Skyler Setser placed third, 4'6”.

Sherrard's Erin Moreley won the 3200 meter run in a time of 14:25.3 while freshman teammate Amy Wollenburg placed  third, 16:25.9.

Freshman Danielle Crawley won the 100 meter dash, 12.7.

Senior Alexandra Munday won the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:07.9 while freshman Chelsea Munday placed third, 1:12.5.

Senior Jaclyn Scavuzzo won the 300 meter low hurdles with a time of 53.4
