Sherrard boys, girls place second at Titan Invite

The Sherrard High School boys and girls track team placed second in both the men and women's events at the Titan Invite held May 2 in Monmouth.

Scores for the boys were: Monmouth-Roseville, 115; Sherrard, 94; Macomb, 92; Bushnell-Prairie City, ,87; Farmington, ,84; Knoxville, 71 and Warsaw.

Scores for the girls were: Macomb, 160; Sherrard, 145; Knoxville, 89; Monmouth-Roseville and Farmington, 75.

Highlights of the meet for Sherrard were:

Boys

The Sherrard boys 4 x 800 meter relay team and 4 x 400 meter relay team  placed first.

Girls

The Sherrard girls 4 x 100 meter relay team and 4 x 200 meter relay team won.  Tiger Allie Munday also won the pole vault. Hannah Lavens and Skyler Setser placed 12 in the high jump.
